The Guatemala Team members are busy making their last-minute preparations for the trip later on this week! If you would like to leave them a message, prayer, thought, etc., please go ahead and do that here. They would love to hear encouragement as they contemplate their departure this coming Saturday night, and would definitely be uplifted by your words. If you are not sure how to post your comments, feel free to click on the link back to the church for detailed instructions on the mission team's page.

Bruce, Ralph, Luanne and Alisha,
Wow! I'm feeling a bit jealous of you'all right now! And I'm also so proud of each of you for stepping out of your comfort zones again and being obedient to what God has called you to do. It will be interesting to see how many of the same boys are there...I wonder how their pillows and sheets have held up? And running water...I would love to see pictures of that! Take a picture of Kevin for me if he is still there. I still pray for him.
Work hard...sleep well :-)
I'm looking forward to reading the updates and hearing about it when you get back.

We made it safely yesterday after a long night but very smooth travels. The team spent last evening at the motel organizing our supplies and materials, singing, had devotions, and prayed. We are ready to go to the orphanage,we found out there are 70 boys instead of 45 but we are up to the challenge.Ralph Suk
It was quite a long night of traveling, but it was smooth sailing. We are rested up and looking forward to doing some work at San Gabriel and seeing the boys!!!

Glad you made it safe and sound. You're missing out on the 95 degree weather! How's the water? You're in our prayers as you touch these boy's life's. May you soar on wings of eagles! Say hi(ola) to the boys. On a wing and a prayer...

Well, the weather here definitely isn't 90°F. More like 70°F. We had quite a bit of rain yesterday which delayed our roofing project and kept us mostly indoors with the boys. But it didn't stop us! We got a big project done in the store room, preping it for tiling. Today we should be laying tile.
Glad to hear everything is going well! Can't wait to hear the stories and see the picts!

I'm glad you don't have to work in this kind of heat! The heat index for today in Martin is 106! We can't wait to hear more of your trip! We'll be praying for you all and the boys too. ~Tiffany
We are glad you made it to your destination and that you have begun the work there. The Lord is good. May He continue to strengthen you and give you the good health to do well and joy of His presence while you are there.
