Hard to believe we are already halfway through our trip! Where does the time go? This mornng we all got up at 4:30 am to cook breakfast for the orphanage. What a morning it was! The kids feasted on chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and horchata (rice milk). After the breakfast and devotions, the guys continued the work on the sidewalk and are nearly done. The contractor also brought the first load of blocks to start enclosing one of the classrooms that only has a gate on it right now. The ladies worked on the bathroom again, along with working on the mural. Both are looking really nice. It looks like they might even have time to get to painting the toddlers bathroom as well. Today was Brad's birthday and we celebrated with birthday cake at lunch. The kids at the orphanage also presented him with a present and sang him happy birthday along with a little prayer. He was pretty speechless after that! We have a very busy next two days, and we ask your prayers for us and the orphanage as we prepare in our hearts to say goodbye for another year. Thank you also for all the comments, it's always great to hear from home!
